LONDON-based IAM Fleet Training is finding worldwide custom for its multilingual staff providing defensive driver training courses. Its latest customer is from the Eastern European republic of Georgia, where the firm, the training arm of the Institute of Advanced Motorists, provided advice for local workers dealing with harsh driving conditions while laying an oil pipeline.

IAM Fleet Training was called in by consultant GSS Group on behalf of Kvaerner Processes UK. The firm has had several jobs in Eastern Europe, along with a spell in Burma, providing its range of accident avoidance and vehicle awareness techniques.
