DAEWOO has launched a three-year/100,000-mile service and maintenance package to cater for fleet customers holding on to their vehicles for longer periods. Service and Maintenance Plus cover is available for a £499 premium which can be paid up front or spread over the fleet life of the vehicle.
Daewoo, which already offers a three-year/60,000 mile warranty and three-year/60,000 mile free servicing package with all its vehicles, is also offering 10,000 mile warranty cover which does not cover servicing costs for £175. Stewart Wright, national fleet manager for the importer, said: 'Some fleet customers were doing a higher mileage which meant they went over 60,000 miles in three years and asked us to provide extended cover. We were happy to organise something, but we did have to add a premium to cover the cost of the extra servicing.'
