MAJOR fleet growth at Tunbridge Wells Equity Friendly Society has led the financial company to outsource the management of its company cars to PHH Vehicle Management. The society originally managed its 100-strong fleet in-house, but found the day-to-day administrative duties became too time-consuming as the company increased in size.

Roger Kidd, administration manager at Tunbridge Wells Equity Friendly Society, said: 'Last year we started a fleet review process because of the company's increase in size. As our company got bigger still, we decided the time was right to provide company cars for all our sales representatives.'

He has now handed over to PHH responsibility for the acquisition, supply, maintenance, disposal, accident management and uninsured loss recovery for the fleet. PHH will also provide its Allstar fuel card and direct driver support, while Kidd will focus on security and health and safety issues.
