GE Capital Fleet Services has assimilated the 3,600 vehicles of Woodchester Corporate (formerly Lookers Planned Motoring) into its own fleet, with the loss of 22 jobs. Bradford-based Lookers Planned Motoring changed its name to Woodchester Corporate after the finance house bought out dealer group Lookers' share in the contract hire company.

GE Capital then bought Woodchester Investments, and in the process acquired Woodchester Corporate two years ago, at which point it started a review of how to integrate Woodchester Corporate's fleet. This determined that Woodchester Corporate was too small to be viable as a stand-alone business in today's market.

The company's 22 employees have been offered jobs at GE Capital Fleet Services' Salford offices. The integration of Woodchester Corporate into GE Capital Fleet Services will be completed by September 30.
