PHH Accident Management Services has joined with PHH Insurer Services to create Cendant Claims Plus. The new company combines the repair and claims management expertise of both parties in a bid to serve better fleets, insurers, brokers and loss adjusters.

CCP will manage insurance claims from initial call through to complete settlement, and in particular aims to control a greater share of third party claims made against its customers. By reacting swiftly to third party claims, CCP will try to manage the repair and any replacement car requirements within its own network, cutting the cost of the incident to its customers.

Lorraine Wright, CCP director, said: 'We can add value in service and financial terms to anyone who has a claim to handle. It's a non-prescriptive system where our clients can pick and choose what we can do to help them do business.'
