206 van launch delayed

THE international success of the Peugeot 206 car has resulted in delays to the 206 van reaching showrooms. Peugeot initially announced that the 206 van would make its show debut following its world launch at this year's Fleet Show at the NEC, Birmingham, in May.

However, the van did not appear on the Peugeot stand. At the time Peugeot said the 206 van would enter showrooms in September and while a company spokesman said the van was 'an important vehicle' for the manufacturer following the demise of the 205 and 106 vans, the postponement was due to demand for the 206 car.
