VOLKSWAGEN revealed the £48,800 on-the-road mobile office at the London Motor Show and, depending on demand, the Business Caravelle could go into right-hand-drive production. The Caravelle has previously been seen as more a commercial vehicle with seats, with the Sharan being the marque's people-carrier.

However, the six-seat Business Caravelle is equipped with every imaginable feature including television, video, fridge, fax, PC, table, swivel seats in the middle row, seat armrests and more traditional features such as ABS brakes, air conditioning and airbags. Powered by a VR6 2.8-litre 140bhp petrol engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, the Business Caravelle is in production in Germany, where it is used by Volkswagen to transport board members instead of a large limousine.
