Kenning blasts off with Atomic Weapons rental deal renewal

THE Atomic Weapons Establishment has renewed its sole supply contract with Kenning Car & Van Rental in a deal worth about 35 vehicle rentals a day. Kenning has supplied AWE for six years, and will now have an implant at AWE's headquarters to organise the rental of a broad range of vehicles, from superminis to 7.5-tonne lorries.

Mike Weedon, AWE's transport manager, said: 'Kenning's strength lies in the fact that it is able to provide us with any vehicle at a few hours' notice. On average we have a requirement for approximately 35 vehicles a day.'
