A RECORD 28 teams took part in the 1999 Volkswagen Fleet: Bora Charity Drive which raised £25,000 for BEN - the Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund, the main recipient of the total amount of money raised and each team's nominated charity smashing last year's total fund of £16,500. A total of 28 teams took part - 15 more than last year.
