One-stop Transits launched by Ford

FORD has launched a new range of ready-bodied 'one-stop' Transit chassis cab derivatives which are now available through its Ford Transit Specialist Dealer network. The six new variants, the 120 dropside, 150S tipper, 190EF dropside, 190 double cab tipper, 190EF curtainside and the 190EF box van are fitted with Ford's 76bhp diesel engine as standard, with a 100bhp diesel optional on most models.

Vehicles can be ordered with factory-built standard bodies styled and coloured to match the cab, rather than having to order a chassis cab and body separately. Mike Platts, manager of Ford's commercial vehicles, said: 'The object of the Ford 'one-stop' range is to provide our customers with attractive, functional, high quality, value-for-money products that can be put directly into service.

'The additional models to the range reflect Ford's commitment to producing a series of products that allow the customer peace of mind when purchasing a vehicle.'
