ASTON Green Audi dealership has come up with a novel way of discouraging potential customers from heading to the continent to buy cheaper new cars. This weekend, November 19-21, the dealership is offering a 'peace of mind' European pricing weekend by attempting to match continental prices for all cars ordered and delivered by December 31.

Examples include an Audi A3 1.8 SE whose UK list price is £19,222, but which costs about £17,860 as an import according to Aston Green. The dealer is offering the car at £18,047. It has gone one step further with the A4 1.8 SE, offering the car for £19,343, £100 below its notional import price of £19,442 and well below its official list price of £21,105.

In addition, the dealership is offering £1,000 cash back on all ex-demonstrator models or a package that includes three years' finance, two years' free servicing and one year's free insurance. Paul Westaway, general manager of Aston Green Audi, said the initiatives were designed to reassure customers that Audi was 'the best value of the German brands'.
