Cougar ST200 on sale in new year

A 202BHP version of Ford's Cougar coupe, called the ST200, goes on sale in the UK at the end of January at a price yet to be announced. Powered by an uprated version of the standard 167bhp 2.5-litre Duratec V6 engine, the ST200 accelerates from 0-62mph in 7.9 seconds and has a top speed of 143mph.

Key differences over the existing Cougar V6 are larger 17in alloy wheels, special leather interior and tweaks to the suspension and steering set-ups.
