Renault prices up

IMPROVED specifications have resulted in price increases on selected Renault models. The Clio 1.9 D three-door has gone up from £9,055 to £9,440, while the five-door increases from £9,505 to £9,890.

The rise is down to making power steering standard, previously a £385 option. An Espace Alize 2.0 16V goes from £19,200 to £19,310, while a Grand Espace 2.2 dT has risen from £22,800 to £22,910. A Safrane Executive 2.5 20V auto now costs £24,950 compared to £24,410 in August. Espace and Grand Espace RT-X and Alize models now cost £110 extra but feature front lateral airbags as standard - previously a £195 option.
