Green vehicles for MoD

THE Ministry of Defence has taken delivery of 17 dual-fuelled petrol/LPG Vauxhall Vectra saloons which will replace staff cars at the Aldershot Garrison, home of the British Army.

The cars are being supplied as part of Lex Transfleet's seven-year £28 million Army contract awarded in 1996. BP is also providing a 4,000 litre LPG storage tank and dispenser with the installation costs being met by Lex Transfleet.
