Four new variations added to Movano range

BOX van, Luton van, tipper and dropside variants of the 3.5-tonne Movano have been launched by Vauxhall. Prices are from £17,665, excluding VAT, for the medium wheelbase steel bodied tipper, rising to £19,365 for the long wheelbase glass reinforced plastic standard body Luton.

All come with a Renault 2.5-litre diesel engine, for which main servicing is at 12,000 miles intervals and oil changes every 6,000 miles. A 2.8-litre turbodiesel is optional. Aluminium or GRP bodies are offered with the long and medium and long wheelbase box vans and Lutons converted by Hawson Garner. The latter also has an 'aero' moulded GRP body option built by Anglian.

Box body volumes are 13.6cu m (mwb allu) and 16 cu m (lwb allu), and 13.2cu m and 15.7 cu m. Aluminium-bodied Lutons have 15.1cu m and 17.7cu m, the GRP versions carrying 14.7cu m and 17.2cu m. Aero internal load volumes are 15.1cu m and 18.3cu m. The steel tipper body, converted by Link Tip, is mounted on a medium wheelbase. Ingemex is responsible for the 2,038mm wide dropside conversions on long and medium wheelbase chassis. Internal body lengths are 3,241mm (mwb) and 3,801mm (lwb).
