NISSAN unveiled a prototype of its new compact multi-purpose vehicle for Europe - the Almera Tino - at the Geneva Show with its versatility the key theme. The European Tino will be part of the new four-model Almera range to be launched throughout Europe next year.

Nissan claims that the Tino features a cavernous boot and a range of other innovative design features incorporating many seating and storage areas never before seen in a family car.

They include: 1,030 litres of space with all three rear seats removed; all three rear seats fold flat to form a double bed and the two outer seats can slide through 200mm; a total of 24 different arrangements for the rear seats; numerous storage spaces including A4-size trays, bins, bottle holders and a CD box.
