DORSET Vauxhall retailers Tice and Grand Parade Motors have merged to form the UK's largest Vauxhall dealership.

The new company, called Trident, will employ more than 230 people, have a turnover of £50 million and sell more than 5,000 new and used cars annually from a network of seven locations. The move follows the joint takeover by the two companies in August last year of Christchurch and New Milton Vauxhall firm Iford Bridge Motors.
