Vauxhall declares summer

VAUXHALL has launched a 'summercare programme' offering motorists a comprehensive check of the cooling system in their Vauxhall car. The check includes all hoses and clips, radiator and pressure cap, thermostat and gasket, water pump and gasket, cylinder head, block and gasket.

The system is then pressure-tested. Also inspected are tyres, the handbrake, steering and suspension, exhaust, battery, lights wash-wipe, fuel and brake lines and air conditioning system. Following the £35 check, a warranty certificate for 12,000 miles or until September 30, 1999, is issued.
