KWIK-FIT is to expand its network into Europe's fastest growing fleet market, it was revealed at the Fleet Show. Last year the Irish Republic's fleet market grew by 17% to around 250,000 vehicles from a parc of 1.2 million cars and in response to this growth Kwik-Fit is to increase its number of centres there from 19 to more than 40 in order to capitalise in the business potential.

Kwik-Fit Fleet managing director Ron Bambra said: 'This represents a tremendous opportunity for a company with the right products and services and we are grasping it with both hands.' This latest move is part of a strategy that has seen Kwik-Fit's position as Europe's largest independent company in the fast-fit market further strengthened following its recent acquisition of Speedy Europe, which increased the number of sites operated by Kwik-Fit across Europe form 1,291 to 1,859.
