Volkswagen creates a June 1 qualifer

VOLKSWAGEN is to launch a new version of the 1.0-litre Polo. Called the Match, it will cost from £7,940 on the road on June 1 when the price of a year's VED for sub-1,100cc cars changes to £100 — saving £640 over its equivalent model in the standard Polo range.

The 1.0 Match three-door is one of four Polo Match models. A five-door 1.0-litre costing £8,460 along with higher-specified 1.4 three and five-door models costing £9,995 and £10,460 respectively complete the line-up. The 1.0-litre models are based on the Polo 1.0 L. The1.4 Match models are based on the 1.4 CL.
