BCA's Dutch arm on record course

BRITISH Car Auctions' Autoveiling operation in Holland is on schedule to sell 50,000 cars this year. This will beat last year's record performance of 42,500.

Ron Leader, managing director of BCA Benelux, said: 'The Dutch used car market is continuing to perform very strongly in 1999, following an excellent year in 1998 which saw significant growth in the fleet and dealer sectors. Holland is one of the most active European markets for used car transactions. It lies second in the league table for used car sales per thousand population, only behind the UK and ahead of Germany.'
