RAC in plea for routine eye tests

COMPANIES have been urged by the RAC Foundation to ensure their fleet drivers have routine eye tests.

The call comes after new research by Aston University revealed that the eyesight of more than two million drivers is below the legal minimum. In 44% of road accidents an element of perceptual error is to blame.
