In 1997 he moved to manage Nissan's network manpower development department. Carr, who held the position for three years, becomes general manager for product marketing and planning and vehicle pricing. He remains a non-executive director and reports to marketing manager Neil Burrows.
Previously he reported to operations director Simon Rutherford. Following Carr to the marketing department is fleet planning manager Cathy Davies, who becomes 4x4 and LCV project manager.
