Goodwood acquires Orange Rent-a-Car

GOODWOOD Fleet Management has bought Orange Rent-a-Car. Tony Donnelly, managing director of Goodwood, which operates almost 3,500 vehicles, said the acquisition of Orange Rent-a-Car, which has a turnover of £1million a year, was a natural progression and would provide a springboard for growth.

He said: 'It was an obvious extension. Our business is in fleet management, but we have a lot of customers who have rental requirements. We have clients with sizeable fleets all over the country and across Europe, so it seemed logical to expand into rental. We can now deliver a competitive and cost effective service.'
