Well-known industry figure dies

WELL-known industry figure Godfrey Larque, a former director of PHH and employee of the company for nearly 16 years, has died suddenly from a heart attack.

Larque, who left the company at the start of 1999, began his career in Networks and became managing director of the firm in 1994. He then became managing director of retailer services in 1995 before taking up a role as senior vice president in service operations in 1997. Most recently he was acting as a consultant to Ebbon-Dacs for their new Leaselink service. A date for the funeral has yet to be announced.
