Legislation holding back spread of LPG claim

LEGISLATION is blocking local authorities from providing the potential solution to the slow growth of the alternative fuel refuelling network in the UK.

Mike Bray, county transport manager for East Sussex County Council, is claiming the Goods and Services Act restricts local authorities from freely selling liquefied petroleum gas to private buyers because it crosses the boundaries of being a public service.
