NISSAN is promising its revamped and renamed Maxima QX executive will be 'extremely competitively priced'. The top model will undercut the current version when the range goes on sale in the UK in June.

Making its debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month, the Maxima QX is a restyled and mildly re-engineered version of the current QX, featuring a new interior and exterior, improved suspension, extra interior room and a slightly more powerful 3.0-litre V6 engine. The UK line-up is still to be decided, although it is expected that it will mirror the current QX range, which ranges from £22,220 to £30,020 on-the-road.
