RENAULT is broadening the Kangoo range with a new entry-level model and more body options. The move follows a strong sales performance for the Kangoo, which was highly commended in the best van under 1.8 tonnes category at this year's Fleet News Awards.

New additions to the range include an entry-level 655D powered by a 55bhp 1.8-litre diesel engine, costing £7,950 plus VAT.

Renault is hoping to further broaden the range by introducing side loading doors, giving easier access to the load bay. Available as an option on all Kangoos apart from the 655D, customers can choose either a single door (£235) or twin sliding doors (£400). Glazed doors are also available at £290 and £500 respectively.
