Institute reveals its Fleet Show roll of honour

THE Institute of Transport Management has announced its latest fleet roll of honour - the result of research carried out at this year's Fleet Show. ITM's Private Eyes Programme 2000 product and service awards are for 'significant contribution to the development of best practice in the fleet industry' and will be presented at the Café Royal, London, on June 2.

They are in addition to the institute's Fleet Awards 2000. Institute members who visited Fleet Show 2000 at the NEC, Birmingham, were asked to visit exhibitors' stands and report back to the ITM committee.

The full PEP roll of honour 2000: Mazda Cars (UK) (best car at Fleet Show); LPG Systems (fleet LPG conversion); Availablecar.com (UK internet automotive retail); Bak2Nu (fleet car rapid repair); Flogas Autogas (autogas service provider); JWE Telecom (UK fleet mobile communications); Manheim Auctions (European vehicle remarketing); Proximeter (fleet innovation); Driving Services (UK fleet driver training); Wildcat Tyres (UK fleet 4x4 tyres), Signs Express (UK vehicle graphics); Motorman (fleet award of excellence).

ITM Fleet Awards 2000: MEVC (UK leasing and fleet management company); Fleetlease (award of excellence); Mazda Cars UK (upper medium fleet car of the year - 626); Daewoo Cars UK (fleet range of the year); Mitsubishi Motors (fleet car of the year - Carisma).
