Plastic helps in high-tech vehicle diagnosis

MOTABILITY Finance is using a series of plastic car component models designed by the AA to train staff in diagnosing vehicle problems. The AA Automotive Training Aid replicates valuable engine parts such as fuel injectors and ABS brake systems with plastic models and together with a CD-ROM guides staff through the virtual engine bay without having to take time off work to go on a college course.

A spokesman for MFL, said: 'This high-tech training will help us keep maintenance costs down as our team responds to technical points with complete knowledge and authority.'
