Trafficmaster attracts fleet interest

TRAFFICMASTER says it is in discussion with 'several large fleet operators' wanting to use FleetStar, the group's new fleet tracking and information service launched last month.

Chief executive David Martell told the company's annual meeting that Trafficmaster had traded profitably during the year to date, despite heavy investment in new products - including FleetStar - service development and aggressive pan-European expansion. He added that while short-term growth would slow, revenues and profitability would grow rapidly from next year. Shares rose 33p to 564p on the news.
