DAIHATSU has cut prices in its workhorse Fourtrak range as part of a special edition promotion running until September 30. A TDL Limited version of the Fourtrak Independent is being offered at £15,995 on-the-road with the same level of standard equipment as the pre price-cut £19,100 TDX model.

The new TDX Independent continues at the old price but now features wood-effect facia trim, stainless steel still bars, a roof spoiler and a colour-keyed hard spare wheel cover. The two-seater Fourtrak Fieldman short and long wheelbase commercial vehicle range sees savings of £1,232 for the TDL trim and reductions of £495 and £485 for the TDS and TDS Limited respectively. The promotion makes the on-the-road price for the Fieldman TDL is now £15,750 with the TDS at £15,500 and TDS Limited costing £15,995. All models use a 98bhp 2.8-litre turbodiesel engine and come with a three-year, unlimited mileage warranty.
