Traffic growth continues to slow

TRAFFIC levels increased by 1% in the second quarter of 2000 compared with the same time last year, according to new figures from the Department of Environment, Transport and the Regions.

However, the statistics reveal that the rate of traffic growth continues to slow as there has been little growth in volumes over the past nine months.
