BP Lubricants is looking for a high-mileage 100-plus car and van fleet to take part in a six-month running costs study of synthetic oils. The test participant, which must currently use mineral oil, would have its vehicles drained down and replaced with BP's Visco 7000.

The chosen fleet's manager will have a key role in the trials, as he or she will be required to provide vehicle histories in respect of fuel economy, and day-to-day operating data. Vehicles in the trial must travel between 3,000 and 5,000 miles per month, and drivers must use fuel cards.

Fleets interested in taking part should contact Parmjit Dhillon on 020 7371 5335 by September 22.
