Leasing firms to boost staff training

TWO leading contract hire firms are showing their commitment to career development by investing thousands of pounds into specialist training.

Staff at TLS, a subsidiary of GE Capital, will now undergo training at the TLS Centre of Excellence at Haydock, where they will be asked to complete a number of modules, including telephone skills, vehicle preparation and operational procedures.

British Car Contracts has announced it is to plough 5% of its payroll into an ongoing programme to enhance the management, sales and business operations capabilities of its 230-strong workforce.
