RAC retains Motability contract

THE RAC has retained the contract to provide breakdown cover for the Motability scheme for the next three years. Since first winning the contract in 1997 the RAC has supplied breakdown and recovery services for 385,000 Motability customers, with a dedicated team based at Stockport.

Gary Spellins, RAC managing director of business services, said: 'As the Motability fleet grows we will be developing our service further so it becomes even more focused on the customer's individual needs.'
