Northgate changes name again

NATIONAL vehicle rental group Northgate Motor Holdings has changed its name for the second time in 12 months. Now known as Northgate Vehicle Hire the company, part of Northgate plc, says the new name reflects what the company does - vehicle hire to business.

The change comes a year after Northgate's holding company changed its name from Goode Durrant to Northgate. Managing director Steve Smith said: 'As the group is now solely focused on commercial vehicle hire we have changed both company names to clearly represent this to the outside world.'
