Autoglass takes first batch of new Transits

WINDSCREEN repair giant Autoglass has taken delivery of the first of 170 Ford Transit vans to join its fleet this year. The fleet - all Ford - totals 1,100 and offers a 24-hour service across the country.

All the new vans are SWB 2.4-litre diesel 260 models and will feature rear sliding load areas which allow windscreens to be removed without the fitter having to bend down. The vans will average a three-year fleet life covering 90,000 miles.
