CITROEN'S Relay van now comes with common rail diesel power across the range with the introduction of the 2.0HDi.

The new 86bhp turbo-charged engine replaces the 71bhp 1.9D and 86bhp 2.5D normally aspirated diesels fitted to the Relay 1000 and 1400 models.

Meanwhile, HDi power becomes standard on all 3.5 tonne Relay 1800 models, which are now available with the new 127bhp 2.8HDi engine which is also available in medium and long wheelbase Relay 1400 models.

The 2.0HDi develops up to 60 per cent more torque than the engines it replaces at lower revs. Prices for the Relay range starts at £12,900 plus VAT for a 1000 short wheelbase van. Until the end of December, all 2.0HDi and 2.8HDi Relays are offered with £1,500 cashback.
