ONLINE fleet decision makers keen to exploit e-commerce opportunities with their suppliers will be supported by a new European Union directive.

The proposed directive will force EU countries to recognise the validity of electronic invoices, with the potential to reduce costs.

This issue will come under scrutiny at an internet seminar for fleet professionals organised by Fleet News and CAP Network.

The IT&e conference will offer practical guidelines and advice for fleet operators looking to access the efficiencies and administrative savings available from e-commerce and the internet.

Senior industry and internet experts will address the conference, that takes place on January 29 at Gaydon Heritage Motor Centre. Delegate places cost £49 if booked before January 18 (£70 after that date) and include lunch and information pack. For further details contact Sandra Evitt on 01733 468123.
