ALLDAYS Stores has become Honda's first major corporate customer to take delivery of the all-new Civic. The first four Civics, from an expected total of 40, have been handed over to Alldays to join the company's dual-badge fleet of 200 cars.

The fleet is operated and managed by Driving Costs Down, whose chief executive, Ross Jackson, said: 'The new Civic has received a warm welcome from the fleet market. We acquired more than 30 Hondas for Alldays last year, and have first-hand experience that Honda cars offer excellent wholelife costs. We are sure the new Civic will be no exception to the marque's fine record.'

The Alldays fleet of Honda cars, which will be supplied and maintained by Derek Warwick Honda, Southampton, will include the 1.4 S, 1.6 SE and 1.6 SE Executive. Nicholas Philips, head of Honda corporate sales, said: 'We are delighted that the new Civic has already been chosen by such a major player in the retail industry.'
