VOLVO is hailing its new business centre a success after handling more than 4,000 calls, 238 demonstrator bookings and 127 leads since it opened in September. The centre, based in Byfleet, Surrey, was set up as part of a restructuring of Volvo's corporate sales programme.

It is staffed by four dedicated account support managers, backing up the work of the company's account development managers. Alistair Murray, Volvo's corporate sales manager, said: 'The figures for the first three months are encouraging, and the benefits to customers are already emerging. Customer satisfaction is the main priority and we will continue to look at ways to develop and enhance the service further.
