Hourly rental rates for high-flying business travellers

HOURLY car rental has been launched by Europcar with its new DriveTime rental service for travellers who do not want to rent a car for a whole day. The company is launching the DriveTime package for customers arriving in the UK for a business meeting who may not want to take public transport.

Kirsten Roennau, marketing director at Europcar UK, said the introduction of DriveTime in the UK demonstrated the company's commitment to offering more product choice by identifying and meeting the changing needs of today's business traveller.

DriveTime is available at major airports such as Aberdeen, Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Glasgow, Heathrow, Leeds/Bradford, London City, Manchester, Newcastle and Stansted. Prices start at £3.99 per hour for a five-hour rental drive.
