AUTO Contracts has launched a new service and repair scheme for customers' vehicles in partnership with Overdrive Business Solutions. Nearly 3,000 drivers in vehicles run by Auto Contracts use new purchasing cards operated by Overdrive to buy servicing, repairs and replacement parts from more than 12,000 garages throughout Britain.

Overdrive controls all the purchases made by the card-users, administers payment transactions and provides information used to compile reports for its customers. David Teale, Auto Contracts' managing director, said: 'By tapping in to Overdrive's large scale fleet management operation, we have been able to enhance the maintenance support for our customers and divert energy at head office away from day-to-day administration.'
