CAP Motor Research today announced the launch of a new automotive business alliance designed to meet the needs of dealers, manufacturers, insurers, finance providers, fleets and remarketing specialists through use of the internet.

The new alliance is aimed at providing industry decision makers with a unique portfolio of automotive information, vehicle and risk management tools.

The Network comprises the CAP portfolio of valuation products plus internet technology and stock location business Autolocate and fleet and dealer sector portals Fleet NewsNet and AM-online.

Services include:

  • the WEBbuilder tool kit, developed with IBM, to enable dealerships to create and manage their website, from its content, editorial and pictures, vehicle search and display facilities boosted by specification and equipment details direct from Cap Network databases, supported by Cap Network staff

  • dealership locator to make customer contact easier, with location maps and directions and contact details

  • a navigator allowing website visitors to compare vehicles with full details supplied by Cap, finance and tax calculators

    used vehicle valuation, including future values

  • Cap Connect, a new concept featuring a suite of components for use within dealerships enabling users to access a range of vehicle and market information.

Cap Network is being launched today at Automotive Management's Digital Dealer Fair at the National Motorcyle Museum, Birmingham.
