New Corsa makes strong auction debut

VAUXHALL'S new Corsa made its auction debut at BCA Nottingham with residual values on a like-for-like basis 14% better than the old model. A series of X-registered three-door models produced an average residual value of 85.3% of list price.

Prices realised included: 1.0 Comfort, list price £8,095, sale price £7,050 (87.1%); 1.2 Comfort £8,490/£7,600 (89.5%), 1.4 SRI £10,790/£9,600 (89%), 1.4 Elegance £10,640/£8,900 (83.6%).
