Mercedes launches special SLs

MERCEDES-Benz has introduced three special edition SL convertibles. The cars are called SL designo Alanite, designo Almandine and SL Silver Arrow, and feature special paintwork, alloy wheels and trim enhancements.

The Silver Arrows version is based on the SL500, and only 100 right-hand drive cars are to be built for the UK. The Alanite and Almadine models come with 2.8 or 3.2-litre engines. Prices range from £51,190 for the SL280 Alanite to £68,940 for the SL Silver Arrow.
