NORTHGATE has opened its first daily rental operation outside the UK with the opening of Northgate Vehicle Hire (Ireland). Based in Rathcoole, County Dublin, the operation is headed by managing director Peter Millen.

The move is part of a five-year plan to double the size of the Northgate group both in terms of number of locations and fleet size. The company currently runs 35,000 vehicles from a network of 48 hire companies.
