Re-launch a success for online stock locator

VEHICLE remarketing specialist GRS is claiming a big hit with its re-launched online stock locator. It says more than 600 motor traders have registered at www.e-grs.com following the relaunch as part of the company's re-branding - previously the company was known as Greenhous Remarketing Services - earlier this year.

The company says it has an active database of more than 4,000 trade buyers, have 24-hour-a-day, password-coded access to GRS's nearly-new stock which is sourced from fleets, rental companies and manufacturers. With more traders looking to buy online, GRS has appointed Bill Griffiths to the newly-created role of IT manager.

Griffiths, who has been instrumental in the production of the new website, said: 'Our online offering has proved a big hit among trade buyers, many of whom do not have the time or resources to travel long distances to source vehicles from auctions.'
