A NEW chairman and secretary have been elected for the London East group of the Association of Car Fleet Operators. Terry Loizou, fleet manager of Barnardo's, was unanimously elected to replace Roy Clough of Universal Salvage, who stood down last week.

Clough, who had spent nine years as chairman for London East, told members: 'It has been great fun and I have really enjoyed it. I am now looking forward to sitting on the other side of the table.' ACFO director Stewart Whyte said: 'Roy Clough has done a very good job for a long time representing local interests and has made a great contribution. We will miss him at national council meetings.' Scott Lemaitre, of Drive & Survive, was unanimously elected secretary.
